Help with Givnori

Setup, billing, cancellation, and privacy guidance for Shopify merchants.

Install and authorize

Install Givnori from Shopify and review the requested permissions on Shopify's authorization screen. Givnori requests product read access and discount management access so it can validate gift products and manage app-owned discounts. After approval, Shopify returns you to the app to finish setup.

Enable the theme app extension

  1. In Shopify admin, open Online Store, then Themes.
  2. Choose Customize for the theme used by your store.
  3. Open the cart template and add the Givnori Gift Picker app block.
  4. Place it near the cart lines, save, and preview the cart page.

Theme compatibility depends on the active theme and cart experience. Dynamic checkout, headless storefronts, and heavily customized cart drawers may require separate testing.

Create and verify a campaign

Choose eligible products, gift products, a threshold, dates, and customer-facing copy. Use Preview first. Publishing creates or updates only the discount owned by Givnori; the app does not edit product inventory, orders, customers, SKUs, themes, or Markets.

Plans and test billing

Choose a monthly or annual plan in Givnori. The app shows the price, billing interval, and any eligible trial before Shopify opens its charge approval screen. On an authorized development store, Shopify marks the subscription as a test charge and does not create a real merchant charge. Paid stores should approve a plan only when they intend to start that subscription.

Cancel a subscription

Open Plans in Givnori, review the cancellation details, and confirm the request. The subscription status changes only after Shopify confirms cancellation. Pausing or ending a campaign does not cancel the app subscription.

Uninstall Givnori

In Shopify admin, open Settings, then Apps and sales channels. Select Givnori and choose Uninstall. Shopify revokes app access and sends an uninstall notice so Givnori can close the shop connection and begin its documented data cleanup process.
